Anna is a mother first and the founder of Desert Maven second, which means you'll likely find her sweet babes close by when you visit the shop.

Desert Maven began with Anna's own desert inspired linocut prints carved from her love of Cave Creek; its saguaros, mountains and sunbaked stillness. What started as sharing her block printing work gradually expanded into something larger: a thoughtfully curated boutique rooted in craftsmanship and a return to the slow creation of handmade goods.

Inspired by life in Cave Creek, AZ and her travels throughout Mexico, Anna blends Southwest landscape with artisan depth. From block printed textiles to woven blankets from Oaxaca, each piece reflects her appreciation for tradition, texture and the hands behind the work. She believes in honoring the process by choosing goods shaped by time, skill and intention rather then speed.
